Trip Report – Teddies Peaceful Stroll

The Teddies Peaceful Stroll series is made up 23 caches on a 4.5 mile circular walk a couple of miles north of Thatcham in Berkshire and easily accessible from the M4. The series is mainly along woodland paths with a bit of open countryside at the start and end of the trail. The caches are a mix of sizes and well stocked with swag, most were easy to find, the clues are good and the names of the caches generally point you in the right direction but there were a couple that were well hidden and a challenge to find. There are several other caches that you can pick up along the way, I bagged 27 in total. The terrain is very easy going, no hills to worry about and only 1 stile so it’s pretty much dog friendly the whole way around. This would make a great walk on a hot sunny day where walking under the shade of the trees will keep you cool. I thought this was a really great series and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
